The Riva History

Chef Tracy's great grandfather, Giovanni Riva was from the town Cadro, Switzerland, which is a suburb of Lugano, Switzerland.  The city of Lugano borders Italy and has been called by some as the Monte Carlo of Switzerland.    Italian language and culture dominates this once Italian city.

Riva has also become a family name for the next generation.  The owner's have a daughter named Riva Simone.  She loves to help around the kitchen!  You may sometime get a glimpse of this little entrepreneur when visiting the restaurant.

Note:  The painting next the Riva's logo is the house where Giovanni lived as a boy.

organic, and free range foods whenever possible.  If someone has dietary restrictions or allergies she can prepare special dishes upon request.
